EVENT DESCRIPTION:

The Native American Law Students Association (“NALSA”) is hosting a screening of “Warrior Lawyers: Defenders of Sacred Justice” at the S.J. Quinney College of Law on November 6 at 5:30 pm MT.

NALSA is a student organization dedicated to promoting the advancement of Native Americans in the legal community. Our mission is to create a supportive relationship between Indigenous law students, Native lawyers, the Native American community and the public. NALSA is an active advocacy organization. We work diligently to sponsor Native American speaker events, service projects for Indigenous communities, and participate in the National NALSA competitions.

The documentary NALSA will be showing “focuses on the stories of Native lawyers, tribal judges and their colleagues who work with Native nations, their citizens and mainstream institutions to achieve sacred justice.”
