The S. J. & Jessie E. Quinney Legacy

The Wallace Stegner Center is deeply indebted to the S.J. and Jessie E. Quinney Foundation for its vital endowment funding. In 1997, the Quinney Foundation provided the College of Law with endowment funding to support the Stegner Center and a named professorship in natural resources and environmental law. In 2001, the Quinney Foundation pledged additional endowment funding for the center. The foundation’s generosity has secured the Stegner Center’s future, enabling us to continue preparing tomorrow’s leaders in environmental and natural resources law and policy through the college’s JD and LLM programs and to promote greater community awareness, understanding, and involvement in environmental issues through our public educational programs.
