Scott has worked in the Office of Development and  Alumni Relations team since June, 2014. As Research Manager, he oversees administration of the College’s grant-related activity, assists with select gifts that have very strong research components, coordinates the JD Fellowship program, runs the administration of the College’s portion of the OVPR Faculty Research Seed Grant program, writes select school-wide Development proposals with the Senior Director, and assists the Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Research on any projects or issues that arise. He is the College’s main contact with the University’s Office for Sponsored Projects and Office of Compliance Oversight and Reporting.  Before joining Utah Law, Scott received his A.B. and Ed.M. from Harvard University, where he worked in various positions for over 20 years, most recently as Associate Director of Gifts and Grants at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute.
