Caisa Royer leads the Pro Bono Initiative (PBI), which is a volunteer opportunity for both law students and legal professionals. Caisa works closely with student directors and community partners to coordinate PBI’s brief legal advice programs, which are free for the Utah community. As an adjunct professor, Caisa also teaches courses focused on client-centered practice and community engagement. Before joining the college of law, Caisa completed a joint JD/PhD in Law, Psychology, and Human Development and worked as the Associate Director of the Utah Prison Education Project.
