G.W. Anderson Oil and Gas Scholarship

G.W. Anderson Oil and Gas Scholarship

The G.W. Anderson Oil and Gas Scholarship is provided through the generosity of the Anderson Hatch Foundation and the law firm of Holland & Hart LLP. It honors G.W. Anderson, a pioneer in Utah’s oil and gas industry–who was well known for his dedication, hard-work, and love for his community.

The scholarship was designed to introduce students to the oil and gas industry. The summer internship at Holland & Hart LLP will include a broad exposure to oil and gas law, such as preparing industry agreements, chaining title documents, conducting due diligence on large-scale transactions, and researching complex regulatory issues. Beyond oil and gas, the scholarship is an ideal opportunity for a student interested in pursuing a legal career in real estate, mergers and acquisitions, or natural resources.
