ULaw Student Organization Marketing Guide
Posting Materials on Campus

Approved Locations: Flyers and posters may only be displayed on designated bulletin boards within the S.J. Quinney College of Law building.

Level 1: Student Wellness Center (red corkboard walls)

Level 2: Graduate Student Lounge and locker room by the café

Levels 3, 4, and 5: Corkboards near classrooms and locker rooms

Restrictions: Do not post materials on trees, buildings, walls, glass, or any other university structures unless expressly authorized by the Office of Student Affairs.

Approval Required: All flyers and posters must be stamped by the Union Service Desk before posting.

Contact: Work with the Union Service Desk prior to printing and posting materials.

Posting Etiquette: Do not cover or remove existing posters that are not yours. If you have concerns, contact the Natasha Carlton, Associate Director of Student Advising & Activities.
Digital Signage and Social Media Promotion
The ULaw Marketing & Communications team can assist in promoting your organization through digital boards, social media, and the email newsletter.

Submission Guidelines:

Digital Signage: Submit graphics sized 1080 x 1920 pixels (same size as a Instagram Story) at least two weeks before your event.

Social Media Posts and Event Coverage: Submit requests at least two weeks before your event.

University Branding Guidelines
University of Utah Trademarks & Licensing regulates the use of University marks on all products and in association with entities outside of the University of Utah. This includes uses coordinated by University departments and programs. Department-specific branding is regulated by University Marketing & Communications in accordance with the University’s Brand Guidelines. However, Trademarks & Licensing is still responsible for making sure merchandise bearing the University’s likeness is sourced from licensed vendors.
