Have you dreamed of taking the oath to join the U.S. Supreme Court Bar?
The University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of law would love to help facilitate that experience for you. The College of Law invites you to its second U.S. Supreme Court swearing-in event in Washington D.C. on March 29-April 1, 2019.
Be part of a 20-person group of U Law alumni to be sworn in before the U.S. Supreme Court. This unique experience will allow you to practice before the nation’s highest court, but the experience along is worth participating in the event. Not only will participants receive their certificate of admission, they will be able to participate in CLE opportunities, lunches, dinners and other exciting activities.

The University of Utah will submit the packet all at once for ease of processing at the Supreme Court.
The College of Law has booked a block of rooms at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center (for details, email Lori Nelson at lori.nelson@law.utah.edu). Participants will need to make their own travel arrangements and book their rooms. The trip is designed to be an educational and fun-filled weekend. The agenda includes a CLE presentation on Friday night and a law-related walking tour of Washington D.C. and possibly a private tour of the Supreme Court building. A Sunday group dinner will precede the Monday swearing-in event.
