Jodi Knobel Feuerhelm, a 1985 alumna of the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, has received the State Bar of Arizona’s 2016 Member of the Year Award.
The award recognizes an “attorney who has rendered extraordinary contributions to the programs and activities of the State Bar in the prior year,” according to the State Bar. The award will be presented at the Arizona State Bar Convention Annual Luncheon on June 17 at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort in Chandler, Arizona.
Feuerhelm is a partner at Perkins Coie LLP. Feuerhelm’s litigation practice focuses on construction counseling and litigation, product liability, real estate disputes and complex commercial litigation. She represents clients in trial, mediation and arbitration proceedings covering a wide range of projects and issues, including construction defect claims, lien and payment disputes, contract and warranty claims, and materials failures, with projects ranging from residential complexes to schools, pipelines, hotels, resorts and other commercial buildings. In addition to her construction practice, Feuerhelm handles an array of real estate and other complex commercial litigation matters.
