Rosky Joins New Utah Employment Discrimination Advisory Council

Professor Clifford Rosky has accepted an invitation to join the Utah Labor Commission’s new Employment Discrimination Advisory Council. The purpose of the Advisory Council is to provide the state’s Antidiscrimination Division a structure for feedback and dialogue with stakeholders.

In extending the invitation, Sherrie Hayashi, a commissioner with the Utah Labor Commission, said, “I think [Rosky’s] insight would be tremendously helpful and there may be need for development of administrative rules to help define some aspects of SB 296 [which adds sexual orientation and gender identity to the existing laws against discrimination in employment and housing in Utah].
