University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law Professor Clifford Rosky testified before the Salt Lake County Council earlier this month in support of a resolution banning conversion therapy.
The council unanimously passed the resolution. Utah Gov. Gary Herbert later proposed new regulations for conversion therapy.
Rosky was a force behind trying to get legislation passed in Utah that bans conversion therapy in the state earlier this year.
