University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law Professor Christopher Peterson recently appeared on National Public Radio to discuss operational changes at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau under the leadership of Mick Mulvaney.

The agency was designed to protect people from predatory practices by financial companies and several consumer advocates, including Peterson, believe changes to the structure may harm the agency’s ability to do its job effectively.
