University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law Professor Erika George recently presented her work at two events.
George appeared in Los Angeles at Occidental to discuss a portion of a forthcoming book chapter, “Security and Sustainability in Complex Contexts from Conflict to Cooperation in Multi-Stakeholder Initiatives: The Voluntary Principles on Security, Corporate Responsibility and Human Rights.” She spoke at a conference designed to deepen academic engagement with multi-stakeholder initiatives (MSIs) as governance mechanisms for a globalizing world. The event was co-sponsored by the Harvard Human Rights Program and the Institute for Multi-Stakeholder Initiative Integrity.
George also participated in a research roundtable reassessing the business and human rights agenda at the University of Connecticut on March 30.
