Dryer speaking at Utah Municipal Attorneys Association Annual Conference

On May 11, 2016, Professor Randy Dryer will be speaking in St. George at the Utah Municipal Attorneys Association Annual Conference.  His topic, “Technology & Ethics: Changing Expectations and Obligations,” is particularly timely in light of the recent amendments to the Utah Rules of Professional Conduct adopted by the Utah Supreme Court.  The amendments modify Rule 1.1 by making technological competence an ethical requirement for all lawyers.  This is a significant change and will dramatically impact the practice of law in Utah.
