University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law Professor Lincoln Davies was interviewed on KUTV 2 News in an article titled, “Trump’s decision to battle in courts over travel ban could take a while.” Davies states that the Supreme Court can take a while to determine whether or not to take a case and it’s decision may not be the end.
“The court might divide along ideological grounds and have a 4-to-4 split,” Davies said. “And if that’s the case, the 9th circuit’s decision would stay in effect.”
