jorge-contreras_wvflnyOn October 14, 2015, Professor Jorge Contreras submitted expert comments to the Chinese National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) relating to its proposed Antimonopoly Law Intellectual Property Guidelines.  Much of Prof. Contreras’s research relates to the intersection of intellectual property, antitrust law and technical standardization, and he has specifically studied the impact of Chinese firms on international standardization activities.  Prof. Contreras was assisted in preparing and translating these comments by Chenjun “Peter” Jia, a lecturer at Tongji University in Shanghai, who is currently a Visiting Scholar at the University of Utah.
