On September 22-23, Professor Jorge Contreras was invited to Houston to give a series of talks regarding intellectual property licensing to faculty, students and alumni of the University of Houston Law Center. The series of three talks focuses on different aspects of technical standard-setting, with an emphasis on the licensing of patents under “fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory” (FRAND) terms.
