Shima Baradaran, Associate Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, will speak at the Center For Prosecutor Integrity Innocence Summit in Washington D.C. on June 12-13, 2015. The theme for this year’s conference is, “Working to strengthen prosecutorial ethics, restore the presumption of innocence, curb over-criminalization, and bring an end to wrongful convictions.”
Baradaran will participate in the Overcoming Gender and Racial Bias in the Criminal Justice System panel and her presentation will address, “Are Judges and Police Racist? A Look at the Evidence.”
