University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law Professor RonNell Andersen Jones visited the Media Freedom and Information Access (MFIA) Clinic at Yale Law School earlier this month to participate in the institution’s annual Access and Accountability Conference.
Andersen Jones spoke on “Vilification of the Press and Threats to Newsgathering.”
The conference focused on the laws, policies and actions that obstruct the ability of journalists and others to report the news needed to hold governments accountable, and to develop litigation strategies and legislative responses to overcome them.
