Alumn Robert Stott retiring after 40 years prosecuting Utah murder cases

College of Law alum and Assistant District Attorney Robert L. Stott is retiring after 40 years prosecuting Utah murder cases. He’s best know for cases against Ted Bundy, Arthur Gary Bishop, Ervil LeBaron, Joseph Paul Franklin, Ronnie Lee Gardner, Mark Hofmann, and Mark Hacking.

Professor Paul Cassell said, “He is arguably the premier prosecutor in the State – our students  have been very lucky indeed to hear his presentations over the years.”
