On October 7, dozens of S.J. Quinney College of Law students and alumni attended the third monthly “Solo Support Series” panel discussion sponsored by the Professional Development Office. Those attending these events have had the opportunity to meet and learn from local solo and small firm pratitioners. October’s panel featured Ben Lieberman (Law Office of Ben W. Lieberman), Cassie Medura (Cassie J. Medura Law, LLC), and John Lore (Lore Law Office) discussing “Malpractice–Insuring Against it and How to Avoid It.” Prior events in this series have focused on the issues including office setup and practice area selection, and have featured S.J. Quinney Alumni Phil Wormdahl, Abe Bates, Kari Dickinson, Colleen Witt, Landon Potter, Karthik Nadesan, and Tracey Watson.
