Lee Warthen received a B.A., M.L.S., M.A., and J.D. from BYU.  He joined the law library in September 1985.  Over the course of his time here, he served in several roles including Assistant Director and Head of Collection, Building, and Maintenance.  Lee taught legal research for many years, and took a special interest in foreign and international law research.  He is the author of several articles and a book chapter on legal history, with a focus on Utah.  He has been a member of the Utah Bar since 1986.  He has been active in and a frequent presenter at the American Association of Law Libraries,  the Western Pacific (WESTPAC) chapter of AALL and the Utah Library Association.  He retired from the Faust Law Library in 2016 after 30 years of service.
