USA Today Interviews Cassell on Federal Judiciary

On December 27, Paul Cassell, Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, was quoted in a USA Today article “GOP campaign showcases role of federal judiciary.”

The article highlights the role federal judges increasingly play in deciding controversial decisions.  Cassell observes that, “More and more, our country’s disputes, on the environment, on labor, on criminal law, are being decided by federal judges. We’re looking to courts to sort out issues like health care.”
