Teter Interviewed on Fox News Story about Political Gerrymandering

Michael Teter, Associate Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, was quoted in a November 5, 2012 new story on Fox13 News, “4th district race draws big money from both parties.”

Teter told Fox 13 that both parties approach the creation of districts with their own agenda: “Both Democrats and Republicans strive to draw districts that benefit their party.”

He also noted that partisan gerrymandering is not illegal. “It comes down to partisan advantage and political power.”
