Rosky to Speak at Utah State Legislature, Jan. 26

On Thursday, January 26, at 5:30pm, Clifford Rosky, Associate Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, will participate in the Respect Utah Dialogue at the State Office Building of the Utah State Capitol.  The event is designed to show that an overwhelming majority of Utahns support the passage of a bill that prohibits employment and housing discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.  Rosky, who was involved in drafting the bill, will explain how the bill changes the state’s existing nondiscrimination laws.  The dialogue will be facilitated by Thomas Love, the President of Love Communications, and will feature several Utah business leaders.  The bill will be introduced by Senator Ben McAdams, who is sponsoring the bill in the Senate.

The event was announced in The Salt Lake Tribune.
