Rosky to Participate in Family Law Dialogue January 12

On Tuesday, January 12, Clifford Rosky, an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, and Lynn Wardle, a Professor of Law at the J. Reuben Clark Law School of Brigham Young University, will participate in a Family Law Dialogue. The event, to be held in the Sutherland Moot Courtroom at the U of U S.J. Quinney College of Law, will run from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and will be preceded by a reception from 6:00 to 6:30.

The Family Law Dialogue will cover several issues, including Equality Utah’s Common Ground Initiative, Salt Lake City’s new antidiscrimination ordinances, and the impact of these measures on family law. Rosky and Wardle will each present their positions on these issues and then audience members will be invited to submit question to the presenters.

The event is sponsored by two student organizations at the S.J. Quinney College, the Outlaws and the Federalist Society. It is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and students will have first priority.
