Rosky testifies at Senate committee in favor of strengthening Utah’s hate crime laws

Cliff Rosky, a professor at the S.J. Quinney College of Law, this week testified in favor of Senate Bill 107 at the Utah State Legislature, which would amend Utah’s hate crime laws.

Rosky played a critical role in drafting the bill,  introduced by Sen. Stephen Urquhart, R-St. George, which passed out of a Senate committee this week with a favorable recommendation after a 5-1 vote.  The bill will next be heard on the Senate floor.
