As the State of Utah filed an application with the U.S. Supreme Court to stay same-sex marriage within the state, Clifford Rosky, Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, was interviewed by the L.A. Times and on ABC News.
Rosky was also iquoted extensively in aDecember 30 Provo Daily Herald article, “Will LDS bishops be forced to perform same-sex marriages?”, in which he explained the answer is no. “In the history of our country, no church has ever been forced to marry an interracial couple. The same principle applies to same-sex couples,” Rosky said.
