On February 2, Linda Smith, a professor at the S.J. Quinney College of Law, published an op-ed in The Salt Lake Tribune.
Titled “Funding services for the disabled could deter abortions,” the op-ed lays out Smith’s argument that Utah should not “abandon the weakest” in our society by imposing across-the-board cuts to programs that provide “medical, educational and social services for people with disabilities who truly cannot fend for themselves without our help.”
