Professor George Speaks at Symposium in Argentina

Erika George, a professor of law at the S.J. Quinney College of Law, was a guest speaker at a symposium on access to justice organized by the Center for Constitutional Law at the Pontificia Universidad Catlica Argentina on June 11, 2009. Her talk was titled The Role of Law in Restoration, Recovery, and Accountability.

Other notable speakers included Ian Gray, Chief Magistrate of Victoria, Australia; Professor Marten Sigal, Universidad de San Andres y Universidad de Palermo; Professor Alan White, Valparaiso University School of Law; and Professor Penelope Andrews, Valparaiso University School of Law.

Also, on June 4, 2009, George taught a class on Women’s Rights, Reproductive Health and International Human Rights at University of Los Andes in Santiago, Chile.
