Teneille Brown, Associate Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, presented at a judicial training for New York staff attorneys and judges in Long Island, New York, on February 24, 2010. Her talk, titled “Neurobiology and the Law,” was followed by a legal update class that she taught on detecting past mental states using Functional MRI (fMRI) and Electroencephalography (EEG).
Brown also presented on the topic of evidentiary issues in brain-based lie detection at the Salt Lake City law firm of Jones Waldo & Holbrook on March 2, 2010, as part of the Downtown CLE series sponsored by the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law.
