On Friday, March 12, Chibli Mallat, a Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, published an op-ed on the Law page of the Lebanon Daily Star.
Mallat’s op-ed, titled “Middle East democracy and the empty dialogue with Europe,” argues that Western leaders should support non-violent dissent against brutality and autocracy in the Middle East.
