Johnson Presents on OTC Securities Reforms in Vancouver

Christian Johnson, a professor of law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, presented an all day seminar on Over-the-Counter Derivative Reforms to the British Columbia Securities Commission on October 1 in Vancouver. Johnson’s seminar discussed the market failure concerns of regulators and legislatures with respect to the OTC derivatives market. The seminar than focused on the various proposed reforms such as mandatory exchange trading and clearing of OTC derivatives.
