Guiora to Present at Seminar in Israel

Amos Guiora, professor of law at S.J. Quinney College of Law, was a presenter at a seminar titled “The War on Terror and Restrictions on Free Speech” sponsored by The Terror and Democracy Project of IDI’s National Security and Democracy Program in Jerusalem on February 18-19, 2009.

The two-day seminar, “organized in cooperation with the Minerva Center for Human Rights and the Bruce W. Wayne Chair in International Law of the Hebrew University, explored the impact of the war on terror on different aspects of the right to free speech and associated rights and interests: Israeli law, comparative law, international law, and legal, political and philosophical theory,” as noted in their brochure.
