Guiora to Participate in Expert Meeting on International Law and Drone Usage

On July 13, Amos Guiora, Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and a retired officer in the Israel Defense Forces, will participate in an expert meeting on Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles sponsored by the United Nations Office of the High Command for Human Rights. The meeting will be held at Oxford University.

According to support materials provided by the UN, “the meeting will bring together a small group of participants from different backgrounds to focus on the international law implications of the use of Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles.”
