Guiora Interviewed by Guardian, NZ Herald on Targeted Killings, appointed Research Associate at Oxford

Amos Guiora, Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and a retired lieutenant colonel in the Israel Defense Forces, was recently interviewed by two media outlets on the Obama Administration’s practice of targeted killing of suspected terrorists.

In interviews with the London Guardian and the New Zealand Herald, Guiora was critical of the administration’s policy of drone strikes on suspected militants, telling the Herald that the lack of external review left him “deeply concerned.”

In other news, Giora was recently appointed a Research Associate at the University of Oxford Institute for Ethics, Law and Armed Conflict (ELAC).  For more information on ELAC, click here.
