On November 19, Erika George, Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, will present a portion of her book project to the Northwestern Law faculty in their workshop series. The title of her talk is “Incorporating Rights: Corporate Responsibility and Conscious Communities in an Emerging Transnational Order.”
George explained that she will be “sharing what I have learned through participation in and observations of the development of a UN policy instrument recently adopted to govern transnational businesses where human rights may be placed at risk by particular corporate conduct.””
