George to Present on Child Labor and Human Rights at Upcoming Conferences

On Friday, April 4, Erika George, Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, will present at a conference titled “Confronting Child Labor in the Global Agriculture Supply Chain,” to be held at UC Davis School of Law. George will serve as the will serve as the children’s rights/human rights presenter at this multi-stakeholder meeting.  The conference is supported by Mars Corp. and will bring together non-governmental organizations and government to examine issues of supply chain challenges.

In addition, on April 8, George will be part of an expert panel discussing human rights and financial reporting at a conference titled “Implementing Dodd-Frank 1502/1504: Advancing Human Rights Through Financial Reporting” at the University of Connecticut’s Thomas J. Dodd Research Center. In addition, Sen. Dodd will speak at this event about the Dodd-Frank Act.
