Erika George, a professor of law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, participated in recent and upcoming conferences in Atlanta and Paris. On Saturday, October 30, she presented her work-in-progress paper “From the Womb to Working the Night Shift: Gender Roles, Human Rights and Corporate Social Responsibility in India” at Emory University School of Law’s Feminist Theory Workshop titled The Corporation, Vulnerability and the Human Condition, which was hosted by Martha Fineman.
On Friday, November 5, George will serve on a panel titled “Linking Corporate Practices to Human Rights Abuses: The New Approach in Accountability” at the ABA Section of International Law Annual Meeting in Paris. Her contribution to the panel will be included in a book published through the ABA next year.
