Craig Quoted in Cape Cod Times about Climate Change’s Effect on Oceans

Robin Kundis Craig, Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, was quoted in a November 16, 2012 article in the Cape Cod Times titled “Scientists: Record temps will alter landscape.”

The article, about the ninth Marine Law Symposium at Roger Williams University, included quotes from a number of speakers who described the likely effects of climate change on the Northeast.  Craig discussed the importance of flexible planning and flexible regulations, citing the examples of salmon farmers in Australia, who draw on government research to locate their operations in areas that won’t be too warm for the fish, and longline fishermen who voluntarily avoided areas with large populations of endangered sea turtles.
