Craig Named UNC’s Center for Law, Environment, Adaptation, and Resources 2014 Scholar of the Month

Robin Craig, Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, has been named the University of North Carolina’s Center for Law, Environment, Adaptation, and Resources (“Clear”) 2014 Scholar of the Month.

In its announcement, the University of North Carolina wrote, “Professor Craig’s work lays out both the accomplishments and shortcomings of current environmental theories and their actual effectiveness in practice, particularly as to concepts of sustainability and climate change. She proposes worthwhile alternatives to improve both environmental policy and the environment itself. Her research on principled flexibility as a tool for climate change adaptation is valuable to understand emerging changes in our environment and leave behind a better planet for future generations.”
