College of Law’s Exciting Summer Courses Open to Visiting and Full Time Students

Students-Summertime-4In 2013, the College of Law will offer an extensive program of summer courses for both full time students and visitors. Students will have their choice of 11 different courses, five of them in an intensive “boot camp” format including Lawyering Skills, Corporate Financial Transactions, Contract Drafting, Taking & Defending Depositions, and Preparing, Examining & Cross-Examining Witnesses.  The College of Law is also offering a pair of two-week seminars, Election Law and Law & Literature.  Finally, there will be four courses offered during the month of July:  Advanced Legal Research, Evidence, Legal Profession and Legal Writing for Judicial Clerks & Interns. Collin Mangrum, co-author of the text Utah Evidence, will be visiting from the Creighton School of Law in Nebraska.  He will teach Evidence.  Please contact Registrar Chris Pezely for additional information on registration.
