College of Law Profs to Discuss Importance of Pro Bono Work Thursday, October 28

On Thursday, October 28 from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m., Professors Jensie Anderson, Christopher Peterson, Lincoln Davies, and Teneille Brown will be presenting the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law’s first annual Pro Bono Brown Bag. The professors will discuss their experiences with pro bono work and highlight the value of sharing their expertise with the community.  The discussion will be held in the Sutherland Moot Courtroom and lunch will be provided.

Anderson, who will discuss her pro bono work with the homeless and the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center, encouraged all students to attend. “Pro bono is not only professionally satisfying, but it’s personally satisfying as well. I get to help people who otherwise wouldn’t have access to the justice system and I get unique experience outside of my normal legal practice,” she said.
