Four law professors from the S.J. Quinney College of Law, Lincoln Davies, James Holtkamp, Christian Johnson, and Ralph Mabey, were invited by the Deseret News’ weekly Mormon Times section to address current issues drawing on their individual areas of expertise and their membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Each faculty member contributed a brief essay touching on current national and international topics. Davies wrote on energy independence, Holtkamp addressed climate change, Johnson drew parallels between the global and local economic perils, and Mabey discussed the perils of excessive debt.
