Chiang to Participate in Post-Film Discussion about Hate Crimes Sept. 30

On September 30, Emily Chiang, a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law at the S.J. Quinney College of Law, will participate in a panel discussion about hate crimes in conjunction with the screening of the PBS documentary Beyond Hatred

The film will be shown at the Salt Lake City Library, 210 E. 400 South, at 7:30 p.m., with the discussion to follow afterward.  In addition to Chiang, participants include Capt. Kyle Jones of the Salt Lake City Police Department; Fraser Nelson, Former executive director of the Disability Law Center; and Maria Gasper from the Inclusion Center. The discussion will be moderated by Natalie Avery from KUED-7. Admission is free.
