Teneille Brown, Associate Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, presented at The Green Issue Symposium: Discussions on the Intersection of IP Law and the “Green” Movement at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago on April 9, 2010.
Her talk, titled “The Eminence of Imminence and the Myopia of Markets: Distributive Justice and Access to Clean Technologies in the Developing World,” posed the probability of international agreements that allow for compulsory licensing of HIV drugs in the developing world to be expanded to cover access to clean technologies.
