On May 1, Mark Jarvis, a third year law student at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, was honored as the Pro Bono Law Student of the Year at the Utah Bar Association’s Pro Bono Publico awards.
Jarvis, who completed more than 200 hours of pro bono service during law school, is the student director of the College’s Family Law Clinic. After graduation, he plans to open his own law practice, with a focus on criminal and family law.
