  • #32 for median undergraduate GPA (#15 among public schools), reflecting students who are highly accomplished—both during law school and throughout their careers.
  • #14 for number of graduates practicing public interest law (#9 among public law schools)—an indication of our strong community engagement, and our focus on improving access to justice.
  • Excellent rankings for our specialty law programs, including:
    • #7 for environmental law (#3 among public schools),
    • #26 for intellectual property law (#9 among public schools),
    • #30 for health law (#11 among public schools), and
    • #34 for criminal law (#14 among public schools).

“Utah Law has earned an enduring place among the best law schools in the nation, and our strong performance in this year’s rankings underscores this,” said Dean Elizabeth Kronk Warner. “Still, rankings tell just part of the story of our exceptional Utah Law community. I’m proud of the talent of our students, the dedication of our faculty and staff, and the ambition of our alumni. These are what make the College of Law a truly great law school.”
