Professor Robert Keiter has received the 2026 Calvin S. and JeNeal N. Hatch Prize in Teaching. The Hatch prize is awarded to an outstanding faculty member who has made significant contributions to teaching at the University of Utah for an extended period of time and has developed new and innovative teaching methods, is inventive in the curriculum and classroom, and committed to enhancing student learning.
Professor Keiter will be recognized on Thursday, April 30, at the University of Utah’s general commencement ceremony.
