The Wallace Stegner Center’s Law and Policy Program had an exciting year, with John Ruple rejoining as the Director of the Program, after his service with the White House Council on Environmental Quality. The team grew to 6 employees this year, all focused on scholarship on key environmental and natural resources issues.
Highlights included:
- Welcomed John Ruple back from service with the White House Council on Environmental Quality
- Grew the Law and Policy Program to 6 members
- Continued to produce scholarship focused on public lands, critical minerals, permitting practices, NEPA implementation, and Tribal environmental law - 4 articles,1 white paper, and 1 book chapter
