Rasa, a public benefit corporation helping clients clear their criminal records that was founded by alum Noella Sudbury (JD ’09), was featured on NPR’s All Things Considered segment. Sudbury and Rasa client onboarding team member Virginia Mireles spoke about how Rasa hires experts and uses AI to quickly begin the expungement process.
Rasa participates in a Utah regulatory pilot project that allows nonlawyers to practice certain types of law through technology-based services. The platform not only helps justice-impacted people clear their criminal records but also helps them connect to scholarships, healthcare, and fair-chance hiring opportunities.
